Know what AI says about your brand

Buyers now ask ChatGPT and Perplexity what to use before they ever reach Google. Kitbase runs your prompts against the answer engines on a schedule and measures whether you show up, who shows up instead, and which sources shape the answer.

What you get

Four measures of how you show up

Every figure is derived from real answers the engines returned for prompts you chose — not an estimate, and not a proxy score.

Presence rate

The share of answers that mention your brand or cite your domain, tracked over time. Mentioned and cited are reported separately, so you can tell whether engines talk about you, link to you, or both.

Filter by engine, or view the combined rate

Share of voice

Each brand's presence normalised against the total across every tracked brand in a run, with a dense rank over time. A competitive share of the conversation, not just your own rate in isolation.

You plus every competitor you track

Cited sources

The domains and the exact pages engines lean on when answering about your category — classified as yours, a competitor's or a third party, and tagged with a source type from UGC to editorial.

Scope it to answers that mention you

Framing

Every detected mention is labelled with sentiment, flagged as recommended versus merely mentioned, and — when the answer is a ranked list — given its position within it.

Per-engine breakdown

Strong on one engine, invisible on another

Presence isn't uniform. An engine that leans on review sites will surface a different set of brands than one leaning on documentation — so the same brand can dominate one and be absent from the next.

  • One line per engine across your completed analyses, over time
  • Toggle between the presence rate and the cited rate
  • Competitor trends plot every tracked brand on the same axes
  • Suggested competitors surfaces brands the AI named that you don't track yet
How a run works

Your prompts, checked on a schedule

A run is a batch of prompt × engine queries. It's built to survive interruption, because every one of those queries costs money.

  1. Add brands and prompts

Register your brand with the aliases and domains engines actually use, add the competitors you care about, then write the questions your buyers really ask.

  2. The run executes

Kitbase queries each engine for each prompt. Completed provider calls are recorded and never re-executed, so a server restart or a deploy mid-run resumes rather than re-paying for finished queries.

    resumable

  3. Answers are parsed

An extraction model reads every answer into the full list of companies it names, matches those against your brands by name, alias or domain, and records citations, sentiment and rank.

  4. Results land

Presence series, per-engine trends, competitor movement and the cited-domain map all update. Pausing settles after the current batch; cancelling keeps everything already finished.

Find the pages that decide the answer

Cited domains aggregate across recent runs and carry a source type — review site, community, news, docs. The third-party domains cited most often in answers where you're absent are the highest-leverage places to earn a mention.

  • Scope citations to answers that mention you, to see what engines lean on when they talk about you
  • Drill into any domain for the exact URLs that were cited
  • Per-prompt heatmaps show which questions you win and which you lose
  • Feed the gaps straight into Backlinks as a prioritised outreach list
