How does the 7-day free trial work?
The Starter plan includes a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. You get full access to all Starter features during the trial. If you don't subscribe before the trial ends, your account will be paused until you choose a plan.
What is AI visibility tracking?
You define prompts your customers might ask AI assistants (like "best analytics tool for startups"), and Kitbase checks the leading answer engines daily to see if and how your brand appears in the answers. Coverage scales by plan — from ChatGPT on Starter up to every major answer engine, including Claude and Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode, on Business. Each plan includes a number of tracked prompts; every daily check per engine counts as one AI run.
Can I track how AI answers differ by region?
Yes, on Business. Other plans measure your prompts from a single region; Business lets you track more than one, so you can see where an answer names you in one region and a competitor in another. Each region you add runs your prompts again, so it draws on your AI credits accordingly.
What are credits?
Credits are the currency for AI features — AI visibility checks, content recommendations, and more. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance that refreshes each month, and each AI action uses credits based on its cost. Need more? Credit packs (from $25 for 1,000 credits) top up your balance, stay valid for 12 months, and are only used after your plan's monthly credits run out — your plan always comes first.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
We'll notify you as you approach your limits. Past them, you can buy a credit pack to keep going instantly, or upgrade your plan if the higher usage is your new normal. Tracked prompts and team seats are plan features, so growing those means upgrading.
Can I upgrade my plan at any time?
Yes, you can upgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing cycle.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account will be paused and you'll only have access to the billing page to resubscribe.
Do you offer discounts for startups or nonprofits?
Yes! We offer 50% off for verified startups (under 2 years old, under $1M funding) and nonprofits. Contact us to apply.
